Our mission is to enable every child to discover their talents, realise their potential, and achieve their dreams by living, laughing and learning together, anchored in the love of Christ, always asking, ‘What would Jesus do?’
Holy Cross is a small Catholic Primary school set in an idyllic location to the North of the Isle of Wight. The school was originally founded in 1953 by The Sisters of Christ and is set in the grounds of what was once the Convent of the Cross. We enjoy beautiful surroundings, with stunning views of the Solent and beyond.
Our aim is to provide a caring environment for your child. We offer a wide range of balanced learning opportunities for all children to help them grow into independent and responsible people capable of fulfilling their full potential.
Life at Holy Cross is underpinned by Gospel values. Pupils and staff are encouraged to reflect on how the teachings of Jesus can steer us in our daily lives.
Holy Cross has a set of values called the C.A.R.E.S values which we aspire to instil in all our pupils:
